Can anyone suggest any good sites for kids resources - word searches or pictures to colour in with a Roman and/or Medieval theme? I have been looking all over the web and all I found is stuff that is suitable for Sammy the crab i.e. so simple that it would keep 'em occupied for all of a few seconds and which seem to assume that the target audience is thick (can I even say "thick" without getting arrested these days?) and/or has an attention span limited to a few seconds.
Any and all suggestions most welcome,
BK

Cheers for that, just what the doctor ordered. I am possibly shooting myself in the foot encouraging youngsters....the time may come when they end up going for a job I was after....maybe I have to take a leaf out of Kronos's book...

Am now saying... archaeology can teach you, can give you skills, can get you outside, or sitting still sorting seeds ... archaeology can help you become confident and train forensic thinking... but for gods sake... don't become an archaeologist
Do it at the weekend!
