Nup, no visible signs of residue on edges or surfaces. I've had a squint through a hand lens and can't see anything that doesn't look like the sandy fabric. Similarly looking at the digital photos, zoomed in.

Just a by-the-way, but the finger marks seem very fresh. The edges of the nail are clear in the ones made with the finger tips, and there are traces of the fingerprints in the ones made with the pad of the fingers. That surface seems pretty fresh, unbraded and unmodified by use-wear.

Fingerprints good enough to get a match between the two? - a publication article right there, Brewster could get away with it. And free evidence for prehistoric/AS nail maintainence :face-approve:
