Hi all
As part of the Festival of British Archaeology (previously National Archaeology Week) we have an Ancient Arts Festival each year. It's at Sherwood Forest National Nature Reserve in Notts, down by the Major Oak, and is a low key event with a few reenactors and some activities for kids.
This year we are short a musician; normally we have booked the fabulous Peter Bull, but alas he is already booked elsewhere. Having a musician wandering around playing mediaeval music really does just complete the atmosphere.
If anyone knows someone who might be interested can you please encourage them to mail me (Emily) at community.archaeology@nottscc.gov.uk.
The event is on Sunday 26th July.
Many thanks! [:o)]
