On site-plenty of water, preferably with rehydrate in it. Key thing is to quite literally watch each others backs, no one else is going to.Sun stroke and heat exhaustion are not funny-had both and I aint going there again. Off site, if you do feel the need to imbibe (line the taxmans pocket/dehydrate yourself/absorb toxin/hump the aesthetically challenged/make woooaaaoooh sounds with your throats in unison/wave your upper limbs in the air at the slightest prompting/talk endless bo**ocks to a piece of furniture/place stomach contents in random urban contexts/split your sides over just how amusing it all was etc) do a pint and a half of water before bed, thats water on its own!Units have an obligation to supply sun cream.Ask why not when there aint any-don`t accept the 99pence crap either.Oh yeah, ask for ice creams.often.Get a tape player stashed away on site.Insert recording of ice-cream van tunes.Press play as appropriate throughout working day.Oh yeah, invest in one of them there hand spray jobbies (gardening styleeee-wilkos 99pence) fill night before, put in fridge next to special brew? then spray liberally on necks and down back of hi-vis. Spankin. Is also a good bit of kit to have on site in case someone needs to be cooled quickly(serious bit).
