Yes quite right peter, it was a good excavation, but then david z was a good archaeologist! and if you need to know anything about the newport ship project you could speak to dr ray howell at UWN.

Last thing I heard, nothing had been decided on the South Ferriby school glass floor.
There is however a weatherspoons pub in Spalding that has put in a Glass floor over some stone med/post-med foundations/cellars and has framed some of the finds with explainations on the walls. Looks quite nice.
