Sorry for all David.
Maybe you might want to review my topic and delete if necessary. I only felt that depsite some real grievances, things were being said out of turn on all sides.
Maybe you need to think about blocking members for limited periods

David
It's not that bad! Your forum has really allowed some serious discussion as well as some spleen venting. There's no serious damage. Well done for allowing this.
You might want additional moderators to edit out the blatant defamatority postings?

No-ones taking anyone to court. I am in the process of writing a detailed letter to the gentleman concerned. This will provide all details of my concerns-these will be copied and sent to the BAJR host.I will list, in detail, my observations. Please don`t think for a moment that I would make a comment that I could`nt substantiate. I will do just that, in full. Naming others in relation to comments made by myself is not on and I expect an off-line apology. I stand by everything I said, I simply should`nt have said them on here. I re-iterate, my comments were my own-not those of the site host. To that end, when full details have been sent to Mr Hosty, do with them as you will. What I simply will not accept, is the gentlemans slating of other contributors on BAJR and, an accusation of libel.I was there, he was not. Mr Hosty should receive a full copy of my letter to Mr Johnson by the middle of next week. When those details are in BAJR possession, it is for him, as site host to decide what happens next.Until then, I unsubscribe from BAJR. I wish you all well.

I will repeat what I said on the locked thread and on another thread. David is away and it is best if no more posts on PCA are made - so why are you posting.
David has locked the original topic - so can we respect his wishes not carrying on the discussion under a another name.
I dont see why Troll and Sniper - should self bar themselves from the list just think before you type. If you want BAJR to be here in a month... then think about it.
I do think that Troll's comment "No-ones taking anyone to court" is naive however. The laws of libel are there for good reason and are about the publishing of false defamatory infomation. Usually it is the publishers who gets sued first.
Recourse to law is expensive. Even the not so good lawyers charge more or less a week pay for a digger (hope I dont cause offence by use of the term). BAJRs meagre resouces are better spent on things other than getting legal opinions.
One of the main achivements of BAJR has been establishing a mechanism so that concerns can be dealt with quickly and fairly without the person concerned having to worry about their job. So use or you will loose it.
As to Troll's comments about the posting by PCA I dont think the statements were libellous even if they were true but I am not a lawyer. They were I think ill considered and written by somebody who was very angry. Outing people on BAJR is not the spirit in which BAJR baiting is conducted.
Intervention on BAJR is rarely neccessary and I hope that will continue.
Peter

Troll, may I respectfully suggest that you do NOT enter into any corrspondence, either written or electronic, until you have cleared it with David (and possibly his advisors)? I can assure you that this would very probably be regarded as compounding an alleged libel should such action be commenced.
I am aware of a very similar recent example involving a non-league football club and their forum, not even hosted by the club. The sum involved ran to six figures.
Today, Bradford. Tomorrow, well, Bradford probably.
