Can tell you that I know at least one person here in Australia who read about other people's problems with GAT. He tried Past Horizons and recieved his stuff as promised.
From what I have read about the owner of GAT on his personal websites, it would appear that GAT was more of a sideline business than any great money spinner.
While it may have started as a good idea, I think that in the end it suffered from a lack of interest on the part of the owners, and this was reflected in their service.
It might also be an interesting example of how some bad press on the worldwide web can determine a companies success or failure.

That's a bit sad... as you said, it started as a great idea; lets hope its just a glitch.
Bad press is not good for any company, and making sure the customer is happy- and contact is kept up is imperative... Past Horizons had a lost package to one customer.. (thanks Parcel Farce) but ensured that a refund was made immediately - and in another case.. to Italy, ensured another consignment was sent. Its important that the customer feels informed. Better to lose money than lose customer confidence.
