Artezian
An ongoing excavation of the fortified township of Artezian in the Crimean peninsula. Focusing mainly on the era of the Bosporan Kingdom, particularly the time of the war with the Romans of 44-45 AD where a wealth of finds has enabled the archaeologists to build up a strong narrative for that time.

Thanks to all who are reading this.. it is really making doing it worth while.

We are already looking at exciting articles for May.. including Egypt, Lake Nasser diving (and ground staff) Timbucktoo.. search for the lost cities, Report from a new community project in England, and also one of our own is writing about who archaeology can help to change real lives.

We now have a readership of quite a few thousand but as ever, want to expand.. so please please, contact your friends and let universities know just how loverly it is!

Can I just say David and Maggie that I passed a link to the magazine to some colleagues in the University of Oslo and they were mighty impressed!! They couldn't believe that such a professional magazine is produced just by the two of you and is a free resource on the internet.

I have now also posted the link on our 'Arkeologi i Norge' Facebook group so maybe you have a few more Scandinavian readers.
