My understanding is that regardless of what becomes written as "law" ultimately, practise bears little resemblance to the spirit of the document. This appears to be endemic in Britain though not exclusively. The unfortunate aspect of all of this is that we all use the phrase "it`s the law" as if it must therefore be right, unquestionable and further, penned by those with squeeky-clean motivations.Not the world I live in I`m afraid........
