Has sniper posted on here since the great shutdown? I always enjoyed her contribution.

Once in the Human remains thread and once in the starting afresh bit sire! I agree- like his/her style. Have had minor e-mail contact with snipey recently and quite rightly, I feel that an apology from Mr Johnson is in order and might persuade snipey back into the fold.Incidentally, tiz good to hear from you Alfie-wossit all about?

i am here, I may be quiet, but I am watching, from afar, with a very powerful telescopic sight. Check out the rooftops around the site, is that curtain twitching in the window opposite? I'm watching and waiting...camoflaged as a rather small spoilheap, or that broken wheelbarrow that's always the last to go from the site hut, but will squeak a lot when provoked. and cheers for the support, Alfie, nice to know I'm missed

Uh, Troll, we are all specialists in different areas of archaeology. Those who work on site are as much specialists as those who identify artefacts.

Mornin Eggy! I agree completely-as I have said elsewhere-field archaeologists are specialists in their own right, as are others who operate in other arms of the industry. In the context of my last post here-I meant that Snipey appears to be our only osteo who posts regularly on BAJR. Hope this clarifies.......

I think it could be said that we all deal with "human remains", and not just the bony or sticky bits..
