I got the message too. Thereâs a guy with a one man crusade against this sort of email, in particular the Nigerian money scam emails that Iâm sure everyone has received at one time or another. His website is
http://www.whatsthebloodypoint.com/ and is possibly one of the funniest things I have read in ages. Well worth a look over the lunch hour.

While on the subject, check
p-p-powerbook for a rather long winded but amusing scam response.

These arnt indevidual people, they are genrally gangs involved in fraud!!!
They work by gaining emails from various free sites and emailing members in the hope of getting banking details, I've had them from different sites
.
It must of been horrible to be assinated.
May god go with you in all the dark places you must walk.

Hi David
My day job is working for an internet agency, and I got some feedback from our guys for you on what you could do:
* limit the number of emails a user can send.
* dont allow the same user to send the same message to more than 1 person in a specific amount of time.
* have a 'report this email' feature (and have somebody act on it).
* dont allow new users who haven't posted anything to send emails (only people with x posts can email other users).

Had this message. Just bin it. Also now getting spam from this forum as well asking me to give money to a Doctor. Just be careful never give any money or account details out at all or even your personal name. Also some email say to cancel your subscription press here. Don't all you are doing is telling the computer that your email is correct and it will carry on spamming you.
Just thought he says YOURS SWEET HEART,

but that only stops one email address.
I think my fourth option would be the best/easiest/most workable - what do you think?
* dont allow new users who haven't posted anything to send emails (only people with x posts can email other users).
