Quick wash programme. 40 degrees, 2 Persil gel tablets, one calgon tablet and a capful of fabric softener...

Have just emptied the washing machine of a couple of jackets plus assorted other site gear, and at the bottom was a beautifully washed (and very small) sherd of possibly Late Iron Age pot[:I]

Must've come out of my other half's pocketBig Grin couldn't have been mine!!

Hang him.... crusher of heritage... destroyer of cherished heritage... you must pay!

Nice one though... take it back and that will foil the chemical analyisis of any fatty deposits on the pot... (no... titter ye not!)
