Just to show we still have a bit of fun...
Whats the collective name for different archaeologists?
A rash of enviromentals?
A pod of geophysists?
A anxiety of consultants?
A huddle of vollys?

- A fluorescence of field archaeologists
- A crash of conservators
- A puddle of project officers (slight and insignificant, but very wet and you'll have to clean your boots if you step on one)
- An articulation of osteologists
- A paragraph of archaeological planning advisors (thats like a chapter, but somewhat smaller and less likely to make sense of the bigger picture, if left on its own)
- A connivance (or cunning) of consultants
- A cete of badgers

a sieve or string vest of guidence documents
a flannel of pot-washers
a beam of volunteers
a tinkle of trowels
a nonsense of consultants
an apathy of curators
an irrelevence of institutes
a crime of detectorists
a whitewash of reports
need tea-back shortly....oh, how about a "lack" of risk assessments?

A prattle of academics.
An array of geophysicists.
A quarry of lithicists.
A kiln of ceramicists.
A nonsense of TV presenters.
An asylum of new agers/ley liners (also applies to Hancockians and da Vinci coders).
An administration of Job Centre staff.
A calibration of 14C scientists. And dendro people.
A folly of students.
We owe the dead nothing but the truth.

I was always told by one of my university lecturers that it was a .....Snide of Archaeologists.
Given some of the recent postings on Britarch and (shock horror) on BAJR about a certain consultancy company in south Wales I think he was just about right...[?]
