Interesting:
The stats say
"73% got annual leave of 20 to 25 days per annum" these means 27% of archaeologists have illegal contracts.

Staff at (some?) council units will have 25-30 days annual leave after 5 years (plus more if they are senior management)

There is still at least one IFA registered unit that (as far as I am aware) still pays its site assistants an 'enhanced wage' rather than annual leave, and any time subsequently taken off is unpaid.
