How to get paid under the new Construction Act
02 February, Cheltenham
Significant changes are imminent as to how payments are made under all construction contracts and as to how disputes under those contracts can be resolved by adjudication. The relevant law was given royal assent in late 2009 and is to be brought into force this year. Anyone involved in the construction industry (developers, contractors, sub-contractors, contract administrators, professional advisers etc.) must understand the new law and operate it on a day to day basis.
