Sorry...being even more childish than usual and thought I'd post this to get the 200th post WOO HOO!!!!!!...now if that is not a reason for a drink I don't know what it...
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, Merlot in one hand, Cigar in the other; body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOO HOO, what a ride!

the last one that was this popular was the one about the druids... Is that what you want, what you really, really want?

Wots occurin'?! Considering putting the heating on as it is bloomin' freezing and a stiff breeze is stripping the petals off my roses...:face-rain:
Now then...this afternoon's entertainment.
Anyone else read Paul Elliott's 'The Last Legionary'? An interesting blend of reconstruction, archaeological evidence, ancient source...and fiction... Have to admit I am struggling with it and will probably end up with it over my face as I snooze on the sofa instead. Would be interested in anyone else's opinion if they would care to share it. You can mail me if you don't want to go into 'print'.

Were you really shouting in an attempt to get our attention, or just being loud?}

Ok, back from the lavendar farm, it's damn cold on a hilltop in a tent when the breeze is as stiff as a very stiff thing! I think it's time for at least one Very Large whisky or three. Shropshire is beautiful, but it's better up north for scenery any day.

Dunno, will it involve heated arguments, slanging matches and people with intractable opinions?

I hope not...I retire to the bar to get away from all these things...:0
Lavender sounds pleasant if cold.
And yes I know it is early to be in the bar but I hate Mondays...still, only 16 working days left on this contract...16 very long, tedious days...

I have no sense of smell, so it was wasted on me. *sigh*
I retire to the bar to get away from everything, if there's a contentious thread perhaps it could go into a 'special' section, perhaps under a flagstone?
