Getting ready to go to bed as we're up at 4:30 to head to the exotic locale of Ryton-on-Dunsmore where we will be flogging beady goodness to the unwary.
Irish Coffee sounds wonderful, as long as you don't put any coffee in it. }

Actually...a steak sandwich sounds really rather nice at this time of night. I have some bread to contribute?

House is so cold my dinner, which was taken out of the freezer this morning to defrost, is still as solid at 1800hrs as it was at 0600hrs...soup again then...

It was 5c in the boat when we arrived home last night at 10pm. Gack!
Fortunately the fire is easy to get going and we were warmed up a bit by around midnight. I love a good wool blanket, I have two of the Hudson Bay blankets for when it gets chilly on the boat.
So, something to drink? What goes with frozen steak?

I think given the general trend of archaeological (profession) affairs... should we now be opening a bar in the local job centre? I'll have a can of spesh and a bottle of 20:20

Are we looking at the seasonal no work for field staff OR a more permanent situation? I'll pass you a brown paper bag with some buckfast. Will keep you warm through the winter
