Have I missed a party?? Dammit!:0
No sausages left but onto proper steak and kidney PUDDING...all gooey and sticky pastry with REAL kidney...and a nice glass of Speckled Hen.:face-approve: Any takers? I need cheering up, as do most people for various reasons...
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, Merlot in one hand, Cigar in the other; body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOO HOO, what a ride!

As my recent culinary experiments have been disastrous a decent bit of steak and kidney pud would go down treat. A nice cold Guinness with it would be the bees knees.

You're too slow wax...WAAAAAAAAAY behind the curve on the kitchen front. Now on to noodles...not as satisfying but the only thing in the house...sadly no Guinness either.
Anybody else around for a lunchtime snifter? Those were the days...gamboling off site to the local to discuss the morning's stratigraphy and how we were going to make the finds fit it...}:face-approve:

Story of my life, always two steps behind. Still some advantages in not being the first over the top. Anything that stays down would be a treat at the moment as I am on the peppermint flavoured Milk of Magnesia.
Now the real trick is making the stratigraphy fit the local academic's pet theory without bending the evidence too far into total nonsense territory

Ha! Explains a lot...
Does that include being under the table?

Well...after another rip roaring day, think I'll close the bar.

Have a drink or two, first. There's still some steak and kidley pudding somewhere, that's not gone completely green.
