Geesh. Go away for a day or two and there's shag pile in the bin!
Spent a great day in the grounds of Lincoln Castle, but it was blustery and I could use a drink to warm up with before I crawl off to bed.

Lunch time snifter anyone??? I hate drinking alone.

Don't mind if I do, need something to warm me up as I ignored the weather forecast and braved the outdoors and am now cold and wet. Still lots of fluffy ducklings on the canal and spring in the air so cheered up a bit

Anything left in the bottle? Two blustery days, one in Lincoln and the other in Jarrow have made me tired, fretful and a bit anxious for something to soothe the nerves.

Yes - it has been rather Winnie the Pooh on a Blustery Day hasn't it?
And still is...but no rain though.

It's torrential rain here and sitting in the boat at the moment feels rather like rounding the Horn!
I'll have some of whatever's going, please.

Thanks, if you put some whisky in it. I'm tired and having a day off. My weekend usually never happens, so I insisted on having Monday and Tuesday away from the studio. I've had no tea because someone didn't tell me the tea caddy was empty!
I'll buy this round... what are you having?

I'll have some cheapo whisky to mix with the water thanks. Saying I'm having a detox period is just my way of putting a positive spin on saying I can't afford wine grump grump!
If your weekends are that busy I hope they're profitable?
Off thatching a round house tomorrow with the ACT boys...sent you a PM too (gossip!)
