Good one. Do you mean you'd sneak into NASA club Neil Armstrong over the head, steal his suit and replace him?
Or are you talking about a time/space displacement device....................This would be much more fun as you could visit the moon before there was any people at all!

I remember someone finding a plastic toy soldier in a "secure" Neolithic context... and under 3 other Neo layers as well! Thanks to your comments, am now imagining some guy going back to the Neo with his toy soldiers and casually playing war, sat in front of a longhouse. Awesome.

Did a Google search on "evidence for time travel" oh dear oh dear!!!!!! Fortunately there are lots of good debunking sites as well. It is the total lack of imagination that got me. If I was going to go back in time I would make sure I left my mark in a distinctive way.

Time travel...or parallel universe?:face-huh:
So what's deja vu then? And when someone sees a vision from the past (or "ghost" in common terminology)...why can't those who see "funny green men" be taken seriously and considered to be seeing into the future...or deja vu from another parallel?
Anyhoo...
AD69. Sweet FA to do with archaeology I suppose but I would like to be in Vesontio when Gaius Julius Vindex and Titus Verginius Rufus, governor of Germany, exchanged messages and allegedly met in secret plotting the downfall of the Emperor Nero. Hugely exciting...the fall of the first dynasty of Rome and the precedent of military might taking the Empire (Vespasian travelled from Judea in case you didn;t know and became Emperor with a ready made dynasty of Titus and Domitian...)
OR
In Suetonius Paulinus' office when he got the mesasge that he was to help with Boudicca's revolt...and didn't do anything and the Second Legion twiddled their thumbs while At Albans and London burned...

It's a neurological episode. Don't understand the technical ins and outs, but it's to do with something misfiring in the temporal lobe area of the brain. Anyone can have deja vu - it's like the brain getting cramp. Nothing out of the ordinary.

Thanks...it was meant to be a rhetorical question, actually as I think it is visions of the future as people see visions of the past...

There s Deja vu & DEJA VU. One is the neurological episode the other enables you to walk from room to room in a house you have never been before knowing what is going to be in there. One is a mild " umm that was interesting" the other is sheer f...... Terror.

Oh, thought for a moment we were going to get a sensible discussion involving String Theory (
not the one where the only bit of string on site snaps just too short for the urgent section drawing though)
I'd go back to the 1920s and give some of those early AP bods a few alternative flight-plans......
