Apologies, I didn't mean you at all I was trying to be pre-emptive in case my post read as whingy, as that wasn't my intention!

There will be plenty of free information content going out on our latest news section, and also some really great entertainment based content in our site hut. It won?t be a pay wall as such, but if people are interested enough to want to know what goes on behind the scenes, we hope they will also be good enough to support the project financially too (that one?s borrowed straight from Mortimer Wheeler!).

Thanks for the reply! It's great to hear that plenty of content will be provided for free. I'm looking forward to seeing both sets (free & non-free) when the project starts.

Returning to your previous post:

We are as transparent as it is possible to be in this - and need to be: crowd funding is based on trust. Our social objectives are clearly articulated, our income visible for all to see (in real time), our deliverables clearly explained, our funders listed by name. Our accounts will also be published at companies house in good time. There are few other businesses/charities in our sector that I can think of whose inner workings are laid so visible for all to see.

In that spirit of openness, can I have an answer to my original question please: is Dig Ventures a non-profit or for-profit company? If for-profit what percentage of profit will you aim to reinvest?
