future discussions on reburial will include people willing to listen to each other with open hearts.
Could not agree more... spiritual poverty ... not something I suffer from myself. But then I don't claim an exclusive right to talk for the people of the past.
As a matter of interest.. as each society in the past (and indeed within the society) had different ways of dealing with the physical remains, would the reburial take place dependant on age of burial, social standing and or location within the country.. or would you just impose a single ritual on each - in as much a disrespect on the individual as anything... or will I expect that everyone in the past had a generic religion that strangely resembles modern druid practice?
