I think the Britarch community and its recent dialogue is actually heartwarming. It is a clear indication that some see the BAJR community as a threat to their perception of the way things are or, should be. This can only be a good thing. It shows that to start with-a body of people coming together in open dialogue can make a difference (enter the Fed stage left) and after ten years of hard work by Mr Hosty, the BAJR world has demonstrated exactly that.
The paranoid over-reactionism and over-fertile imaginations of some of the Britarch posters really does smack of sheer panic. "Good God Rupert, we can`t tolerate oiks with a voice! Quick-design a website to distribute tasty morsels of gossip to discredit the arrogant peasants and while one is at it-phone Gorden Browns web designer and pass the claret."
The Britarch dialogue should in my opinion (as a proud oik) be seen as free advertising...eye-catching marketing...and proof of the pudding that the sheer numbers of BAJR members and their dialogue are being taken seriously. Congratulations Mr Hosty and happy tenth anniversary. Now wheres me balaclava?......:face-approve:
