The worlds are different initially in the sourcing of funding and then they differ further by the social and culture polarity that takes place between the professions.
The nationalism side of the argument too be honest is too complex to discuss easily and all too often riles people needlessly, for the basis of reference rather than as a protracted debate on the subject.
To be honest I think the issue at hand is restructuring the entire profession, and not just one any given organization, or area within archeology, within the wider heritage profession.
Its just a different agenda, to move the ball park.
