Nope... they are nails.. with ribbed shanks.. and nail heads.. look at the picture. you cynic you.
Not available at camping shops :face-confused: I carry 6 in my toolroll.. weigh next to noting, and I love them almost as much as my survey arrows... and I can have a hundred 7" nails for 10 survey arrows. You will also be glad to know that they go through the endcap of a longtape, but the nail head is broader than the hole, so do not pop off. So for all those tasks you used to use a 6" nail for... trench corners, section lines, etc... now there is this little baby. And I found I take more care of them as well.
Tent Pegs.. you could use them as tent pegs (see above) but tent pegs they ain't.
