He talks about his work on the plinth. He could spend some of his his hour recording it. I've always felt that public monuments (as in memorials and statues) and the like are under-appreciated as historical structures. If pillboxes and telephone boxes can be put on the HER, why not war memorials - even that statue in the park of general Whatshisface from the 2nd Afghan war that no-one's heard of tells us something about the historical impact of that forgotten conflict on that particular town (not sure what, though).
