Best Manager is one who can juggle the needs of the client, the desires and wellbeing of the workforce, the requirements of the projects, the constant worries of the bank manager, the fears of theCounty PLanning Archaeologist, the questions of the public.... and still be able to find the archaeology important.

I know... I was one... and I burnt out in only 2 years. You end up either being too soft, too hard or too tired. But as long as you keep remembering why you do it.. it makes the difference from being a David Brent (just!!) [:o)]
