Not worth it mate. The old house with many doors will give you a stigma that will follow you around for life and no matter how 'noble' the cause. Remember big companies don't care either way about you, they just get stuck in the system and read from the book. I think the court thing is the better to clear yourself. Just make sure your preparred well (all documents, letters from employer etc). Had a mate sent down for 8 months, he thought he would get off scott free and hadn't organised anything. Remember that the only winners in court are the lawyers.
