Maybe you're right. But you tend to get twitchy about where and how, and how widespread, information regarding archaeological sites is made available, when detectorists from all over the country have been known to organise to descend on a site in the middle of the night and wreck it, and where large chunks of said site are shovelled into wheelbarrows and the back of trucks to get taken away to be detected at leisure elsewhere. Happened down here...
