Builder-type today "found anything thats worth anything?" I then explain the priceless value of investigating (big midlands city) history and the social/cultural identity it brings.
"wots the f***in point if your not making money then?" offers Plato.
I then go out of my way to explain the concepts again but in Thomas the Tank Engine terminology.
"Oh I see, it`s worth f**k all but it`s priceless" grasps mister man.
"precisely!" I offer in relief that understanding is reached.
