It might be a good idea, but I am not sure it would work. Essentially, you would have to persuade every employer to comply, and they are a very diverse group.

Many employers have well-established systems for devising job titles that have to work across many different professions, so the archaeologists have to fit in (just like everyone else), rather than doing their own independent thing.
