Surely the key question should be......
'Is there anything about archaeology (on all levels) within this country which prevents or dissuades someone from an ethnic -minority- background from pursuing it, either professionally, academically or otherwise?'
Further, if there isn't anything preventative (I can think of a few things that would be, but that are certainly not specific to issues of ethnicity) in a 'socio-political' context, what are peoples opinions as to why the possession of heritage is such an issue, or is it/should it be?!!! Maybe that cross-threads with some (only some) aspects to the Thornborough thread. How does that fit with a paper?
