ONCE AGAIN, I thank you for your interest and debate topics.
Yes, Archpeople is aware of these factors mentioned and have taken them into account.
As for wages, obviously there are various levels: level 2 site assitant for example (6 months experience) will receive between ?280 - 290 per week. This will increase with experience as well as general increases in rates etc in line with all other industries.
As I have stated earlier - we hold with all of our legal rights to our employees and offer SSP, expenses and any other thing that you can actually think of which I am sure you will!
As for "ensuring work" - with all the links and contacts with various archaeological companies - there will always be jobs that Archpeople can provide operatives for.
I hope that this gives you some idea.
Our point is that we offer and provide a service that understands the limitations in budgets, and what an archaeologist has to do in terms of travelling and so on whilst at the same time keeping with highly stringent standards within archaeology itself and the recruitment sector.
