As people appear to be working long hours for one or two archaeological companies - 6 days a week , 12 hour days - do you not or should you not have to sign a waiver to sya that you are prepared to opt out from the European Working Time Directive?
Or is it that because the working hours have been stated in the emloyment contract (which you sign and agree to), that you have signed away any rights with regard to this directive?
