I don't get all this prehistoric rubbish really. Surely the only period of any interest in the UK is that between about 793AD and 1066AD? Outside the UK the late pre-Viking Iron Age in Scandinavia is also interesting, as is the Late Norse period. There really is no need to investigate anything else since these have it all; great stories; giant porridge spoons; mad old women that like beating up chickweed; heroic fights; politics; legal disputes; and Vikings a-plenty. What more could a person need?
