Hmmm, useful information, thank you! Do you have dependants (eg, children), Soils? It seems, from the Inland Rev. site, that what you are entitled to relies on several factors, such as whether or not you are single or in a relationship ('living as married'!) and whether or not you have children/dependants. A single person with no children, earning £10,000 or less, can get support, a couple (no children) earning £14,000, or less , can get support. A self employed person can qualify in the same way, providing that they regularly put in 16 paid hours, or more, a week.
