And behave yourself you lot or I'll throw some Applied Epistomology at you and see how you like it!
(Mr Connelly will know of what I speak)
For those of you not familiar with this particular branch of logic as postulated by a certain fora contributor I will summarise for you:
"As it is now so was it then, regardless of actual facts as they are mearly annoying little insects to be crushed underneath my towering intellect. In fact when compared to my obviously superior super-human intelligence any "research" (note the clever use of those little quotation marks to indicate how post-modern my thinking really is) you might have carried out is invalid. Now kneel before me petty mortals and admit that I'm right because I can always out-smug any of you and whatever you say I can always reply with another question (thereby making myself look as clever as I believe I am). Oh and before any of you "academics" or "archaeologists" who have "investigated" any "actual archaeological sites" respond that I'm just a jumped up Panglosian fool and that the world would be better off if I just accepted that I might be wrong, just remember: I have spoken and as it is now so was it in the past. Now we've got that sorted, lets all just bask in the glory that is me" :face-confused:
