Interesting that an 'Entry level' post at (about) £20-24k is seen as well paid - its all relative, that salary presumably includes three and a half grand London weighting and the chances of the post holder being able to afford to live in anything like decent accomodation in the London area on that salary will be, I suspect, fairly low.
Compared to most 'trainee' digger jobs its OK, compared to my pay after nigh on 30 years its pretty good but ITS NOT GOOD! Only just around average national pay figure.
