Ok at 1 per hour and an 8 hour day, so £192 per day not a high specialist cost at all. The FLOs are examining a wide range of finds and cannot simply limit themselves in the way a specialist can so they may well go a bit slower.
We could probably demand more experienced specialists do the main finds work or it is limited more by period/ region, but the FLO would not build a relationship with their constituency. This may be more efficient. Where would we get the specialists from?
