So the turning of weapons (swords/spears) into ploughs was a bronze age metaphor for taxing the poor to not only subsidise war but also agriculture (a youfourmisum for landowning). This firmly places the origins of the pension grabbers in the bronze age with their yearly accounting systems, sick pay, bank holidays scams and other too good to be true offers and suggests that they are going to be a tough conniving bunch to defeat. Which reminds me that there are two weeks left to count up all the tax advantages that I could get, like fill up the isas, if I earnt a considerable lot more than I do but will lose at midnight on the 4th April for no good reason.
