Welcome back
Accommodation's the biggy, but that's been covered. I suppose things have gotten ever more digital. It's very rare that I get to hand plan or take levels these days. To follow on, sites seem to be getting more person-task specific (ie site photographers/ surveys/ soil people) than I can recall for a long time, and that's across units. Maybe it has more to do with the size of site/ project design I've been involved with lately. And as you've noticed the CSCS card is becoming de rigour. On the whole, PPE provision's gotten better, but conversely site with silly (ie, not directly relevant) glove and goggle rules seem more common. I can't think when I last got to wear my tilly hat.
Otherwise same old, same old at the coal face.
