Strange Dino, as from where I'm sitting, if I wasn't in post barely any archaeological work would happen in the council area I work in. Perhaps the relationship is more symbiotic than parasitic. :face-approve:
If it's parasitic as Unit believes, I'm not clear who's riding on whose back? But anyway I'm quite clear from your comments generally that you seem to regard most of the rest of the profession as pointless, a hindrance, or the competition. The main problems with curatorial services are a lack of statutory recognition and under-resourcing, any other difficulties stem from these facts.
