Actually, the bits about the 'first known spiritual practices' is part of the bumf from the group itself. What the Charity Commission said was
They filled in the right little boxes, so they got the status. It doesn't protect them, it's a tax issue as much as anything because of the money they receive from memebership fees. All the rest of the fluffery is what the Druids Network is putting out as publicity. Just a bit of spin.
