Looks like a sheep/goat/small deer I would say.
I do know I'd have marked the site code and context number of the tile on the other side though!:face-stir:
Not heard of the bear, but I remember a colleague telling me of a Roman tile he found with the prints of a cat, and a dog, both running in the same direction across it, conjured up all kinds of Tom and Jerry style capers in a tile manufactory. Completely unrelated but I also remember reading an academic paper where archaeologists had tried to extrapolate the size of horses based on the diameter of their copralites....ahem...personally I'd have thought their bones would have been a better bet.
