You might not like the title, you might not like the connotations, but if Polly Toynbee (surely the epitome of the 'white middle classes', tell us in the Guardian that the Tories are engaged in class war, then we are engaged in 'class war'..
Personally I prefer the more simplistic Marxist approach that a political and doctrinaire struggle is by default a class struggle. If you believe this is just about money, I think you need to study the recent speeches of one E.Pickles or a certain J.Hunt...
