Those of us who work in the field of illustration and do know what we're talking about would like to explain why this statement is false....but knowing Unit - it would be pointless
I got the impression it essentially happened because the AAIS committe basically couldn't be bothered any more, which makes it all the more worrying that the IfA's members weren't consulted.
I fear it is damaging to both organisations - except that the former AAIS members don't have to worry about that now because it doesn't exist anymore.
I wouldn't bother poking Unit, he probably hasn't had his midday nap yet and is obviously feeling a bit grumpy.
