I think Trowelmonkey has had a ruddy good idea. It'd certainly save the agony of choosing the person least likely to think you are a pillock when you have a daft question
The thing which bugs me most about off-the-shelf books, though, is the fact that the bulk of the photos are black and white! Good for detail, but not great when you are trying to identify something in the first place! Pottery ID being the main example.
Even if nothing fancy is planned we could always post questions (and photos?) on here!
