This thread has turned into a Unit of 1 discussion. The Pub Dig show was ok. In that the archaeology was interesting for such a small 'micro' dig. It showed that it is not just the large 'sexy' digs that are worth reporting (as in most media). Small scale digs can tell a story. Not so happy about the comments - "handling large jugs" and getting the 'horn' followed by Sid James laughter. But this is Channel 5. Also there were so many beer bellies I thought it was a show about neo-natal classes! McGrath just did his 'Idiot Bloke' act and Blinkers came across as engaging and knowing what he was talking about.
