In this case it is commercial archaeology only not SMR/CRM e.g. English Heritage, Council Archaeologists, etc. or third sector/charity e.g. CBA, Archaeology Scotland etc.
It is actually Project Manager + so it can include someone like head of commercial unit's timbuktoo office. Basically, your top positions in commercial archaeology, your senior positions. Most of them rarely get out into the field. Of course there is variation between companies. Smaller ones tend to have a do everything sort of set up.
