Where and when did I say I wanted a return to the conditions you describe?
I was detailing what Thatcherite policies have destroyed needlessly. Things always change. Such is life. But what Thatcherite economics has done, and is doing, is changing our society for the worse. Since the implementation of Thatcherite economics social and financial inequality has grown globally. This current recession has seen a mass movement of wealth from the poor and from the public purse to the super-rich. This has been facilitated by Thatcherite polices. There is an abundance of literature detailing this. Stats the works.
Trickle down theory doesn't work.
So Dino, unless you are a millionaire, I'd advise you to side with those who share you're interests. Margaret Thatchers reign has sowed bitter fruit that we are still harvesting.
Today I was reading about this online. http://tompride.wordpress.com/2013/04/11...ase-share/
This is logical realisation of Thatcherite social policy. 'There is no such thing as society.' !
